What is a cigarillo?
A cigarillo is a small, thin cigar — larger than a cigarette but smaller than a traditional cigar. They typically measure 3–4 inches long with a ring gauge of 20–30. Unlike cigarettes, cigarillos contain tobacco filler wrapped in tobacco leaf (not paper). Many are flavored. They are typically not inhaled.

What's the difference between Backwoods and other cigarillos?
Backwoods use an all-natural tobacco leaf wrapper instead of homogenized tobacco leaf (HTL). This gives them a more authentic, rustic appearance and a slower, cooler burn. The natural leaf also has a distinct earthy flavor that HTL cigarillos don't replicate. Backwoods are also untipped — no plastic or wood tip.

What's the difference between a cigarillo and a blunt?
A blunt is typically a cigarillo or cigar that has been emptied of its tobacco filler and re-rolled with cannabis. A cigarillo is the original tobacco product as sold — the wrapper and filler intact. Brands like Backwoods and Dutch Masters are especially popular as blunt wrappers because of their natural leaf construction.
Are premium cigarillos worth it over mass-market brands?
If tobacco quality matters to you, yes. Mass-market brands (Swisher, White Owl, B&M) use homogenized tobacco leaf (HTL) — a processed sheet made from tobacco scraps. Premium minis (Davidoff, Macanudo, Villiger) use whole-leaf wrapper and higher-quality filler tobaccos. The burn, flavor complexity, and aroma are noticeably better — but so is the price.
Is Djarum Black legal in Florida?
Yes. Djarum Black is sold as a small cigar/cigarillo, not a cigarette. Federal law banned flavored cigarettes in 2009, but clove cigars remain legal. Djarum Black must be purchased by anyone 21 or older. We carry them in store.
